What to look for

Signs you're dealing with wildlife removal — not something else.

  • Tracks or scat near a foundation or shed

Five-toed raccoon prints, twin-track skunk waddle, or paired squirrel tracks at an entry point are confirmed activity. Photos against a coin help with species ID.

  • Scratching, scurrying, or heavy thumping overhead

Squirrels and raccoons move differently — squirrels at sunrise and sunset with quick scurries; raccoons at night with heavy thumps. Either is a confirmed attic resident.

  • Strong skunk odour around a deck or outbuilding

A persistent skunk smell from the same location, even without a spray event, means an active den underneath. Sealing the entry while skunks are inside causes spraying.

  • Soffit, fascia, or vent damage

Raccoons tear soffit returns and ridge vents to enter attics; squirrels chew through gable-end vents and roof intersections. Fresh damage means active entry.

  • Holes and mounds across a lawn or acreage

Gopher and Richardson's ground squirrel activity shows as fresh dirt mounds and 5–7 cm entry holes. Damage to acreage equipment and livestock leg injuries are the real cost.

The method

Wildlife Removal
is a process, not a spray.

Entry-point mapping and species confirmation, one-way exclusion devices installed at active entries for 2–3 days, then permanent sealing with hardware cloth, sheet steel, or exterior-grade hardware. Den inspection on day 14 confirms no return.

  1. Inspection + species ID

We walk the property, identify the species from tracks, scat, damage, and direct sighting where possible, and map every entry point to the structure. Juvenile presence is checked before any exclusion device is installed.

  2. One-way exclusion

One-way devices fitted at every confirmed entry point. The animal leaves to forage and cannot return. Devices remain in place 2–3 days to confirm full exit; longer where juveniles are involved.

  3. Permanent sealing

Hardware cloth, sheet steel, or sheet aluminum installed at every former entry. Skunk and raccoon entries get heavier-gauge hardware than squirrel and bird entries because of the chewing and tearing pressure.

  4. Day-14 follow-up

Inspection at day 14 confirms zero new damage, scat, or activity. 60-day warranty covers any return inside that window. Cleanup of guano, urine-soaked insulation, or den material is quoted separately.

Pricing

One flat fee. No upsells, no surprise site charges.

Pricing depends on the species, number of entry points, building access, and whether den cleanup is required. Single-entry raccoon or squirrel exclusion falls in the mid range; multi-entry skunk dens and acreage gopher programs scale up. Quotes are flat-rate after inspection.

Raccoon family at a Regina Beach cottage · 6 raccoons in residence

Before

Seasonal cottage owner returning to find six raccoons established in the cottage attic and crawl space. Several Regina and Regina Beach pest companies booked solid or unavailable.

During

Two confirmed entries mapped at the roof intersection and crawl access. One-way exclusion devices installed at both. Family exited over three days; entries permanently sealed with hardware cloth and sheet steel.

After

Day-14 inspection confirmed no return activity. Owner left with sealed cottage and a written report. Fair pricing noted in the post-job feedback.

I had a 6 raccoon family that took residence in my Regina Beach seasonal cottage. Tried several pest control companies in Regina Beach and Regina, all booked solid. Real Pest came out, dealt with the whole family, and the pricing was fair.
